Are You Ready 4 the Summer?

A Prayer Just for You!

Give God the glory because you did it!

1 extra minute a day led to today’s 30 minutes.

How fitting to spend today’s 30 minutes reading, thinking about and spending time with God concerning a prayer!?

You’ve worked your spiritual muscles and taught yourself how to go to God every single day. Continue and watch Him work in your life!

I love you and God loves you so much more.

The prayer…

May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Be the Blessed Person You Can Be!

In 29 Minutes today grow into the blessed person that you are!

Read Deuteronomy 28 today.  God for an attitude of obedience and victory. This chapter makes it plain. When we obey God, we will be blessed, when we don’t, the consequences are terrible.  Ask God to reveal to you how to walk in obedience so that his blessings may overtake you.

Thank God for the blessing that comes with obedience. For me, this has been a rough month, but God is BLESSING me over and over again for just staying close to Him!

Have a great day in God!

We Need God!

It’s A 28 minute type of day! Enough time to read, pray about it, read it again, meditate on it, apply it to your life and then act on it!

How often do we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us? We need the God and His Holy Spirit in EVERY part of our lives!

I can definitely say that I don’t allow it enough. I beg God to help me in this area all day long. Here are biblical instructions…

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.

Galatians 5:16‭-‬26 NLT

Live Life to the Fullest!

For your 27 Minutes today, meditate on this exhortation.

My prayer is that this word encourages you to live your life to the fullest in Christ Jesus.

Break down a verse at a time and apply it to your life.  Pray that God will give you the strength to live according to this word.  Ask for forgiveness for the times that you’ve fallen short, even if it already happened today.  Ask God to show you how to walk in love and peace towards every single person that you see.  Ask God to plant this word in you.  Read this scripture out loud.  Write it out so that you will remember it.

Don’t forget to thank God for Him being God, for Him giving this Word, for His Son Jesus and for the Holy Ghost.

God bless you today!

It’s a day to rejoice in God because He made this day and allowed us to see it!

For 25 minutes today, give God the glory that He deserves. Tell Him thank you. Think about His goodness. What is He doing in your life today? What visions has He given you concerning your future? What has He done for you already?

Bless Him with the gift of your voice and your mind. Lift your hands and surrender your heart and your life to Him. Tell Him how Great He is.

The scripture describes how loving and good God is.  He keeps us, He satisfies us with blessings and more blessings.

God bless you as you thank Him today!

Thy mercy, O Lord , is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.  Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord , thou preservest man and beast.  How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.  They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.  For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.  O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

Psalms 36:5‭-‬10 KJV

His Gift to Us!

It’s late in the day. I’ve spent time with God off and on today. I’ve enjoyed a great conversation or 2 about His goodness. It’s been a blessed and busy day.

It is time to stop everything and spend 23 solid minutes with our Father. An eye-opening scripture about 1 of the greatest gifts that God has given us is what I looked at today.

Eye-opener: Sin leads to death. There’s no way around it. If we continue in sin, death is the end result.

How do we stop sinning? Get closer to God. Spend time in His Word. Obey His Word. Pray. Pray. Listen and pray more. Ask God for the strength to not sin.

The Gift: Eternal Life with Christ. Face to face contact with the ONE who died to save you, Who loves you, supplies your needs and cares for you.

23 Minutes isn’t enough to thank God for His wonderful gift to us.

Live In Peace!

Good Morning!

This is the scripture that God gave me for 2017. I’m so happy to share it with you today.

For 22 minutes, read this scripture, meditate on it and pray to God about it for your life. While Jesus gave us these instructions, the results of obeying these words is you having peace and pleasing God. We can’t live like Jesus and act like the world.   Its time for us to mature in God!

Love you and I’m praying for you.

“Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.  You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.

Luke 6:35‭-‬36 NLT

Rise and grind!

God is a great God! He keeps us through the hardest of times and blesses us abundantly on time!

In 19 minutes today read Psalm 31. Can you relate to things going really wrong in life? When everything was said and done do you recall how God still blessed?  This chapter puts God in front of our issues.  God Is our Rock, He keeps us,  He brings us out. The Psalmist praises God with this wonderful scripture…

Psalms 31:19 (KJV)  Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

Hear His Voice…

May the LORD bless you today. I pray that these 17 minutes will leave a lasting impression in you to want to know God more and more.

For 17 minutes, spend time with God focusing on having a deeper relationship with Him. It’s s good to know about God, but it’s so much better to know Him.

Paul’s prayer is for us to have a better understanding of God. As you read, meditate and pray about the scriptures you start recognizing the voice and Will of God. You don’t have to struggle to hear God’s voice or know what it sounds like when you’re spending time with Him daily. Ask for Him to speak and then get your bible, pray and LISTEN.
Ephesians 1:17-19 (KJV)  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
